This is the index page for many of the photos, maps, woodcuts, etc. belonging to the permanent collection of the Skaneateles Historical Society that Bill Hecht copied in 2005. Bill did some preliminary HTML with this material and stored it at freepages.genealogy.rootsweb.ancestry.com. In August 2011, Ancestry encouraged him to create an index for many of the pictures that were not already indexed. Kenneth Wooster attempted to assist with this project until Bernie Corcoran of cayugagenealogy.org stepped in and, using DreamWeaver, assisted with some new HTML. Now in September 2011, Kenneth Wooster has done some more revision of the HTML and has modified links from absolute pathnames to relative pathnames so as to be able to place the entire body of material as one stand-alone unit onto a compact disk. The goal is to eventually upload the material as a portion of the Skaneateles Historical Society web site.
